Pig Picking Cake

Things You’ll Need:

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 18.25 ounce Package Yellow Cake mix
  • 2 11 ounce Cans Mandarin Oranges fully drained
  • 1 Cup Chopped Walnuts
  • 1 3.4 ounce Package Instant Vanilla Pudding mix
  • 1 15 ounce Can Crushed Pineapple
  • 1 16 ounce Container Whipped Cream
  • DIRECTIONS

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 3 - 8 inch pans. Prepare cake mix according to directions. Add the mandarin oranges and nuts. Transfer into the 3 pans. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes. Allow to cool.

    In large bowl, combine crushed pineapple with juice and pudding mix. Stir in whipped cream. Spread over the cake layers. Also, spread over top of cake as a frosting. Chill at least an hour.
    Tips:
    * Add coconut flakes to the frosting

    * Add coconut flakes with the walnuts
