Write Reviews and Make Money

If you like to write, and are trying to break into a writing career, then writing reviews may be for you. It is a great way to begin writing.

It is simple to learn and easy to start. You can review anything from humanities, history, social sciences, books, movies, websites, schools, etc.

Definition of Review: An evaluation or critique of an event, object, phenomenon, text, or place. A review is never just a summary, but also an argument that shows the positives and the negatives. It states your opinion, whether you find it exemplary or inadequate. Never be passive in your review. You will want a strong, yet respectful voice. You want an expert voice.

The length of a review should be between 300 to 1000 words. The length depends on the market you are writing for, not about. You will need to seek out their specific writing or submission guidelines.

To be a great reviewer always combines the following in your review. Be truthful. Do not make up things to sound knowledgeable. Be interesting. Always include as many details as you can. Explain all the benefits the consumer will get from this product.

You may check Craigslist now and then. Here is an example of one that was listed on April 18, 2008, http://austin.craigslist.org/wri/647602877.html. The ideal states and cities are New York, Chicago, Austin, Texas, California, San Diego, San Francisco, and LA.

There is http://www.ciao.com where you can sign up and write reviews. You then earn a revenue share. The only thing I noticed there is that it asks for your PayPal password.

Also, try http://www.reviewstream.com/?inv=lFKC3QTyTJPL. The current review rate is $2.00 and every vote pays $0.10! Not bad. You can also earn on referrals. So, please, by all means, sign up and start Writing Reviews.

You can review anything from cosmetics, medicine, health, hotels, travel, insurance, cars, education, house wares, and so much more. I, myself, just signed up here.

Another great review site is http://www.reviewme.com. It looks a bit easier to get around than ciao. I just signed up. How about you?

Two wonderful resources with information on how to write great reviews is:

http://www.the-write-spot.com/2007/07/blogher-07-the-.html
http://www.indiana.edu/~wts/pamphlets/book_reviews.shtml

Whatever you decide to write, write well.

The Complete Bead Guide

Dear Beading Enthusiast

At last … a complete bead guide that answers all your questions about beads, beading and beadwork!

If that interests you hurry over to…

“The Complete Bead Guide” is not like any other book about beading you’ve ever read. The reason for this, is that a simple webpage was set up and people who visited it were asked to leave their biggest question about beads.

The author then answered them all!

This means that there’s no “fluff” in the book. Just the real answers you want to know about beads and beading.

You’ll discover all types of exciting tips and information about beads. From their history and origin … to what supplies you’ll need for your projects. From how to source beads (easily and inexpensively) … to the types of threads you should avoid!

Here’s a link to more information about “The Complete Bead Guide”:

Here’s what a couple of satisfied customers had to say about “The Complete Bead Guide”:

“I think the book is great. There were stitches shown that I never heard of. Any beadbook that can show a new or different technique is a GREAT book. A lot of questions about bead sizes, shapes, what thread or wire to use, and origin were answered.”

Diane Sansalone

“The book is such an excellent reference guide! The descriptions and definitions are well written and informative so that it is understandable for the beginner beader but also interesting for those who have been involved with beads for some time. For those of us who do not live in the US the list of suppliers is a particularly useful resource as beads and information can be difficult to find.”

Valerie Hatton, Australia

Check out “The Complete Bead Guide” immediately…

Kind Regards,

Bobbi

PS: If you act quickly you’ll get some great bonuses that have been included with “The Complete Bead Guide” … but you’ll have to hurry as these bonuses are only for a very limited time only:.

How to Grill Corn On The Cob - Even Indoors

Have you only made corn-on-the-cob by boiling it? There is another way to cook it and it is delicious. You won’t believe how easy it is.

Things Needed:

* 6 Ears of Corn - amount is up to you
* Grill, Foil, and/or Grill Skillet
* 6 Tablespoons Butter - margarine is a lot worse for your health : ) (You may use Olive Oil instead)
* Salt and Pepper
* Napkins

Step 1

Grill Outdoor:
Peel down the husks on cobs. Do NOT pull them off. Pull out all the silk from the corn. Rinse clean under water. Put the husk back down over corn.

Grill Indoors:
Peel husk completely off corn. Remove and rinse all silk from corn. Soak husks to prevent catching on fire.

Step 2

Grill Outdoors:
Place cobs of corn (with husks still attached) in container of water, submerged. Let soak 15 to 20 minutes. Drain corn on the cob by holding them upside down for a couple seconds.

Grill Indoors:
No soaking needed. Melt butter for better spread .

Step 3

Grill Outdoors:
Preheat grill in usual manner. Open husks and spread corn with butter.

Grill Indoors:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees or heat grilling skillet on medium heat, which ever you wish to use. If you use the oven line tray with foil. Open husks and spread corn with butter. Peel husks and enjoy.

Step 4

Grill Outdoors:
Once grill is heated, place cobs on grill. Cover and keep turning until all sides look burnt.

Grill Indoors:
Once oven or skillet is heated, place corn on foil lining or in skillet. Turn a couple of times. Total cooking time will be approximately 5 to 6 minutes, depending on the heating of your unit.

TIPS

* Soak corn with husk in salt water.
* Try melting butter and garlic together, spread on at beginning.
* If preferred you can add more butter to the corn after cooked.
* Salt and pepper to taste.
* Have the napkins close at hand!!

It is very important to keep your abrasion or cut clean, so it does not get infected. Rinsing the cut with water is usually sufficient. You can also use a mild soap to help clean it.

You will need to apply an antibiotic cream. I do not recommend using a powder. Then wrap with clean and sterile gauze or a bandaide.

Aloe gel is a good, soothing alternative to a store bought cream. It is antibacterial and an anti-inflammatory.

Lavender oil helps in the healing process.

Thyme tea in a cup of water or 3 drops of essential oil will disinfect the area.

Tea Tree Oil, calendula, or comfrey make wonderful salves and ointments.

Now days it is easy to make money blogging. I would suggest more than one blog.

Set up your blogs, lets say three to four blogs. Make sure to include each link of your blogs on each blog you have. Register each at SpicyPage.com and Blog Catalog.

Once you have some content to your blogs, register on Google Adsense. Make sure that you make a different channel for each blog. I would name them with something pertaining to each blog. Maybe even catagorizing them by blog title. This will help you keep track which is bringing in more revenue.

Then market your blogs non stop on Ryze.com, Facebook, MySpace, and all the other social networks. You may even want to write an article about how to use your blog to its fullest and publish the article on eHow or Helium.

Now for my uninhibited plug ~ My blogs:

http://moonmountain.blogspot.com
http://wahmommietown.blogspot.com/

Please, feel free to list them all on your website or blog. If you do, let me know where I can find them and I will return the favor for you.

God Bless You and Yours ~

I love writing and if I wasn’t so busy, I would write all the time. I have so much inside to get out. To say.

Writing can actually be tricky. If we writers want to write, we should strive to write well and with excellence. Often I read articles that could have been much better if only the writer had taken the time to spell check. It very wise to read and reread what we write.

Also writer’s should be careful not to make their article to passive. Use verbs and now words in your writing. Articles need to draw the reader’s attention, not bore them to tears.

So, write well all my writer friends. God Bless.
